Susu was professional and had great tips for writing our video script. She helped to guide us on questions we should ask each interviewee to elicit answers that would go deep. She provided expertise to our interviewees on how to answer the questions with an eye for what was needed for the final product. She made our interviewees feel comfortable and at ease during filming, which can be hard to do. Susu even provided suggestions for content that would really make our video impactful (and we used them!).
Susu was extremely professional. She took time to film multiple shots, making sure they were perfect. She even came up with ideas on how we could film somewhat boring things (such as moving a rack of clothing) to make them more exciting. Susu was also super fast. We expected the video to take some time to put the video together, but I was shocked at her speed (without compromising quality). The final video was beyond what we could have hoped for. It was interesting and engaging, as well as heartfelt. We received a lot of compliments from various supporters on how powerful the video was.
Besides being a great videographer, Susu is super friendly and was so easy to work with.
For my company, she captured a phenomenal array of photographs and produced a marketing video that portrayed every bit of warmth and style that I had hoped for, and then some! Her presence ‘in the field’ was flawless and everything she did (from pre- to post-production) was researched and prepared perfectly allowing the natural scenes to unfold without her interference and that common feel of ‘stiff orchestration’ that seems so common with most photographers.
Her presence almost goes unnoticed as her discrete ability to capture candid imagery and yet she moves with such grace and quickness to be present at every moment. Highly satisfied would be an understatement.

I met Susu when she started taking yoga classes with me a couple of years ago. She always had this very sweet nature about her and over the past year, we have worked together to create photo content for my online yoga business.

Susu packed more into a 12 hour work day than we have ever seen with a photographer. She captured lighting, angles and shots that we have wanted to see since we started our company 16 years ago. The editing of the photos was breathtaking. She was able to get the lighting just so her editing only enhanced it. She puts all that she has into her work and her final product reveals it.
We are so thankful she introduced herself at the Dwell on Design Show in LA as we were there to host our company. We have used her photos and videos in hundreds of marketing products and platforms.

Susu is a dream DP and employee. She makes invaluable suggestions about equipment, she clearly and effectively translates creative direction into technical magic, and she is a terrific problem solver, always coming up with ways to overcome technical and location-related issues.
Susu has a producing and editing background as well, so she speaks scheduling and post, and she is always happy to answer all of production management’s equipment and work flow questions. In addition, she is a wonderful team player – her sense of humor and empathy for others means that she is well-loved by cast and crew alike.
Finally, Susu has a fabulous eye…she knows exactly what shots to get without even needing to be told, although she takes direction exceptionally well.
